This feature allows medical professionals to perform imaging procedures without having to remove the patient from the stretcher, saving time and minimizing disruption to the patient's care. Aluminum stretchers are not radiolucent and may require the patient to be transferred to another surface for imaging.

Carbon fiber is naturally corrosion-resistant, making it an excellent choice for use in challenging environments where exposure to moisture, chemicals, or harsh elements is a concern. Aluminum stretchers, on the other hand, are susceptible to corrosion over time if not properly treated or coated.
